POSITION SUMMARY:

Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to multi-task and be comfortable in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Serve as liaison with employees and vendors.

Serve as receptionist for the department, maintain calendar and meetings for Benefits Manager. Receive and handle phone calls. Process correspondence.

Coordinate special projects such as Benefits Expo and Health Fairs with supervision from the Benefits Manager.

Process insurance enrollments for new employees. Notify terminated employees of continuation rights and process with the insurance carriers.

Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

- High School diploma required

- Some college education preferred

- Office experience required

- Receptionist

-  PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro)

- Typing 45 words per minute

- Data Entry

- Health insurance experience helpful

- Working with group insurance or benefit plans preferred

- Maintain confidentiality

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Customer Service

- General Office Skills

Compensation: $19.36 per hour
